Who are product is aimed at.

We have decided that our film is going to appeal to a niche market of art and film students varying from GCSE to University level.

We have chosen to have our film played at art/film galleries and festivals.

Although this is a very niche market and won't bring in a large income we feel this doesn't matter as much as its going to be a low budget film and the film is going to be used to nourish students art and film perspective.

After deciding on our chosen audience we looked at possible names for our film.
We decided to use another language when choosing our name as we wanted to add mystery to our film and make the audience try and understand what the film is about whilst watching it rather than giving it all away in the name.
we researched the words:
  • Lonely
  • Sorrow
  • Isolation
  • Lost
We chose to research these words as this is what we want our film to represent. We narrowed our choices down to 4 names and asked 30 art and media students what name they preferred. here are our results:
  • Isolement- 6 votes
  • Desole- 5 votes
  • Seul- 2 votes
  • L'sole- 2 votes
  • l'aime Perdue- 15 votes
It was clear that L'aime Perdue was clearly the favourite among our chosen audience.
