Film Review

As i am making a short film the film review differs to your average film review.
After looking at and analysing normal film reviews and comparing them to those made about short films i have notcied some major differences.
In your normal cinema film review there is alot of the plot given away to the readers however this cant be possible in a short film review because in most short films the audience's is meant to be left with a feeling as what to what happened next. The point of my short film is to not give to much away so giving a plot would be giving the film away.
The language and dialect used in both styles of review is the same so when writing i don't have to worry about the style of writing.
I have noticed that short film reviews are very opinion based as they cant actually write about the plot they have to give their opinion on what they think the film was about.

WHO AM I?

Ok so this is the last time i change my mind!
After trying all of my previous ideas when it came to editing the outcome was not what i expected and i felt stuck on what to do, so i decided to brainstorm idea's that really mattered to me.
I have decided to go back to my very first and original idea of a gritty short film aimed and based on the notions of being a teenager.
I am still using the idea of the school heirachy and how their are people who go through moments in their life were they aren't sure were they belong, and they feel that they fit into no particular 'social group'
I am going to call me film who am i?
The film is still going to be aimed at teenagers and most likely to be shown at film festivals.
I think making a short film like this gives teenagers something to relate to and understand the feelings and emotions this person is going through.
I also think it will appeal to an older audience for example 20-30 as they have been through these notions and can also relate to them.
I am scrapping the idea of a documentary and using a more arty and individual approuch to my film as i feel this will be the best way to reflect what i am trying to show.
It is going to be a simplistic short film as i feel this is the best way to show the point i am trying to get across to the audience. By simplistic i mean i am going to use just one setting. The setting is going to be a field and i am going to have a girl sitting in the middle of this field to represent isolation and lonelyness, and am going to use all different camera angles to show this girl. I am going to use different speeds and paces to cause confusing to represent the confusing the girl is feeling. I am also going to use black and white to represent how the girl only see's bleakness infront of her and shes no bright future. I am also going to use some of the shots in reverse to show confuse and also to represent how the girls life isnt going in the direction she wanted and the feeling of having no control over this.
I am going to use 6 voice overs of different people talking about this girl or saying what she believes they say about her. I am also going to have a voice over of her talking about how she feels she is losing sight and touch of things.
Once all 6 voice overs have spoken i am going to merge them all together causing more confusing and speed up the camera to make the audiences disorientated and then there will be a black out and the camera will come back on and the chair she was sitting on will be empty so the audience are left wondering what she decided to do and what path she took.

ALSO i am going to use folky/acoustic music to create a feel of sadness. such as bon iver.

Very different to the documentary however i feel more passionatly about making this and also feel it will fit together better.
I have taken into consideration my previous planning and using this interpretation to show it.
