Challenging StereoTypes

ONCE AGAIN I HAVE HAD A SLIGHT CHANGE IN IDEA!!!!

I am going to keep my idea of having a what you woud call a 'social outcast' however really they are just going to be a completly ordinary person who doesn't chose to fit it to a certain social group and is therefor ignored and not actually recognised.
I am going to show how easy it is to ignore an individual who doesnt follow social norms.
I am going to use my AS coursework for inspiration. I am going to revive pearl as a character.
I am going to keep it as a documentary by interviewing different social groups such as...:
  • The Goths
  • The Geeks
  • The nosey neighbour
  • The Plastics
  • The School teacher
  • The councellor
  • The Parents etc

Instead of using actual school teachers and these real social groups i am going to create them.
I am going to use the stereo types of these characters.
Goths- Dark heavy make up, black cloths, heavy metal musics
Plastics- Blonde hair, Orange, dumb etc.
Neighbour- Old lady, Nosey, Opinionated
Teacher- Glasses, desks, language used.

The whole concept is challenging stereotypes and however much we believe we are individual we are all the same and all have the same values...
