Additional Tasks 2

I have decided to stick with the original additional tasks i decided on.





For my poster, i am going to use an image of the diary that feautures throughout the film. However it some of the images on the front of the diary may differ from the film.


I am considering putting the additional information on the diary...such as:

• dates of release


• rating


• actors


• producers etc.

For the second task i have looked into the language used in film reviews and the layout and setouts.

Even though it has to be a 2 page film review i decided to look at different types to see if they differ.
After comparing i noticed some similarities such as; they all have images from the film or images taken purposly for the film. They all have star ratings at at some point in the article they have the name of the actors, the rating of the film and the director. They will also compare it to films that are alike and say 'if you loved....you will love this'
They also often try to keep positive and if the film critic doesn't like it they will say who they think it will appeal to. It also consists of a brief synopsis of what the film is about and who the main characters are and what role they play.

After analysing these main componates i will feel more confidant when writing my film review.
