Our Chosen Brief

As a group Gemma and I have decided to create a short film lasting no longer than 5 minutes, a poster for the film and a film magazine review for our feature film.
Initially, we wanted to produce a music video but after viewing the opening scenes of two low budget films (Le Haine and Tales out of School) we decided to persue making a short film.

Brief ideas include:

• A film reflecting teenage life.
• Trying to create a sense of isolation.
• Beginning as the end (reverse filming)
• Maverick lifestyles.
• Lifestyles based on the 70's 'punk' movement.
• Planning to use folk/alternative music to show isolation.
• Planning to use loud punk/heavy rock music.
• Using a blue/black and white tint to seperate from reality.
